"Precisely 1 century ago, in January 2019 Hannah Bannanah and Clair Sinclair met up for the first time in Hannah's hometown in Britain, Clair had come all the way from Zimbabwe, they have the means to meet once a year. Hannah hadn't played music in a while, so the pair of them were rusty but they recorded 111 minutes-or-so of them jamming with a bongo drum, casio sk-1, Clair's laptop, etc... While admittedly amateurish and kind of bad in places, the recording represents the energies merging of 2 friends, whose once a year encounter enabled them to tap into a collective, tropical imagination which they shredded out into musical form... The recording was forgotten about until December of 2019, after Clair had spent more time making artwork as "shanzhaisunbaby", and Hannah had returned to making music and mastering the casio sk-1, they realised that the music produced during their visit was like a stone-etching of a world called "Fantasia", and that with their honed skills, they wanted to return to this world and take a HD photograph... This is the original recording made in January 2019, Hannah and Clair have started work on a full novella describing the world of Fantasia and their adventures in it, with plans to meet in March of 2020 to record their second voyage into the mystical world and get it released on a vinyl record - as well as paintings, artwork and other multi-media pieces to ensure Fantasia is well documented!
